Job Description

A fast-paced local company is seeking a payroll, benefits and human resources administrator with a professional, upbeat and positive attitude. The ideal candidate should have the ability to multi-task, be flexible and detail-oriented.

Principal Duties:
o Prepare, review and process bi-weekly payroll for 200 employees in 8 companies
o Audit timekeeping records for accuracy
o Prepare payroll reports
o Ensure compliance with labor, federal and state laws
o Benefits eligibility and administration including inter-company billing

o 10 years' experience in payroll, benefits administration and all human resources disciplines including union properties
o Knowledge of payroll processing/HRIS systems
o QuickBooks and accounting experience
o Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Independent judgment and decision making
o Acute attention to detail
o Demonstrate excellent customer service at all times
