Job Description
Supports all Advisor Resource Center (ARC) functions within the organization. The ARC is a department that helps support financial advisors in an effort to increase their billable hours and save them valuable time. The ARC department encompasses all financial planning services, diagnostic tools, advanced planning support, and firm wide training. This position is responsible for providing services to advisors as supported by the ARC, with an emphasis on executing a dependable workflow for the financial planning process. This is a support based position that will reinforce the ARC’s initiatives. We’re looking for someone with an interest in financial services that is highly organized, able to learn quickly and proficiently, communicates well, and is able to work both independently and on a team. This position is salaried and is not a sales position in any capacity.

1. Financial Planning
● Use eMoney financial planning software to enter client data, calculate solutions, creatively explore options to implement comprehensive and situational plans in strict time constraints
● Develop comprehensive financial plans in the areas of retirement planning, protection planning, cash flow and debt management, investment strategies, college planning, tax planning, estate and business planning
● Create detailed action plans for clients to be able to follow to reach their financial goals
● Communicate with clients as necessary to obtain financial data
● Manage workflow between planner and financial planning director
● Track financial planning process and prepare correspondence
● Print, bind, and mail financial plans to corresponding advisors
● Train advisors/advisors assistants on financial planning software usage and functionality

2. Advisor Resource Center
● Provide the following from various software:
● Morningstar reports
● Forefield and Backroom Technician education pieces and calculators
● Social Security Timing reports
● Maintain and manage all client financial websites (through eMoney software) which includes teaching clients how to use it
● Keep track of all supplies needed for the department to function
● Help financial planning director train, supervise, and develop financial planning and support staff
● Conduct and facilitate training as needed at firm-wide meetings and events to create awareness and excitement surrounding the ARC and it’s services
● Support department with any other initiatives as determined by the Financial Planning Director

Job Requirements
● Certified Financial Planner Designation (CFP®)
● Bachelor’s Degree (emphasis in business and/or financial services a plus)
● Knowledge of eMoney financial planning software a plus
● Experience in financial services industry (either in a support position or as an advisor)
● Highly organized, able to learn quickly, good problem solving skills, and proficiently and communicates well
● Able to work both independently and on a team
